While I am a stocking enthusiast, I love to see you in your shiny hose and especially layered with stockings. Just lovely. Dark tan, copper, brown and black are my favorites (all shiny of course)…please keep it up and turn American women back to hosiery!

I do not understand people who judge others by what they wear instead of by how they act toward others. Different people have different reasons for the things they do and clothing they wear. When the veins in your legs begin to cause health issues, and the pain and discomfort have become unbearable; or your doctor tells you the leg and vein issues are getting worse without support hose; or the insurance company will not approve surgery until you have worn support hose for a given time; or you are taking steps to avoid leg and vein issues of other family members; why should other people judge you and who do those people think they are to judge you for wearing an article of clothing?
For a so called free society, we sure have far too many closed minded controlling people who pass judgment on others who do not fall into their thoughts, beliefs, and behavior, What gives these people the right to judge and try to control others? Who said the thoughts, behavior, clothing styles, etc of these narrow minded dictators are the right way to do things? They surely are not in the rest of the world. Who and what authority decided what is male and female clothing? These designs have changed throughout history, including that it was men (most of this country’s historic leaders) and not women who wore tights, and leggings and the shorter trousers that exposed part of the stocking bearing legs. Who and want authority determined when we changed from that style to just women wear stockings, tights, and pantyhose? There was a time not too long ago women wore only dresses, skirts, and shorts, never wearing pants, and always wearing stockings, tights or pantyhose and heels when when wearing dresses or skirts; yet you seldom see girls and women wearing stockings, tights or pantyhose any longer, and pants are seen more frequently than dresses and skirts with the exception of hot weather. Who and what authority determined when we changed that style?
I wonder how many of the closed or little minded people who deny there are health benefits to wearing support stockings, tights, and pantyhose took any time to research the subject before they made their narrow minded statement? Accept it or not, medical professionals not only believe in the medical benefits, they prescribe the use of support stockings, tights and pantyhose. So there are unquestionable medical and health benefits to wearing them. But then again, who cares if a person wearing them is wearing them for medical or personal choice and comfort reasons; it’s their choice, not yours. And the comments about wearing bras to defend a position one way or the other about support stockings, tights and pantyhose has nothing to do with leg health. Bras are for breast support or possibly breast health. If a woman is flat or small chested, why should she have to wear a bra that provides no benefit or comfort just because she is a woman? On the other hand if a man is large breasted, and in some cases much larger than some well chested women, why should he not be able to wear a bra for support just because he is a man? The garments have nothing to do with each other, so I do not understand the comparison.
It is time we demonstrate being the educated, informed and free society we claim to be; recognize no two people are identical in thoughts, mind, behavior, abilities, health, and yes clothing choices and styles; accept others for who they are or are not; and stop our dicatatorship controlling of others.
Yes, men and women should be able to wear pantyhose, stockings, tights, or anything else they find comfort in, whether that be for health reasons or just their personal choice. All the different styles of clothing are out there because of all the different people with different thoughts, concerns, needs, and choices.
I love wearing pantyhose to work everyday and the other young ladies that I work with discourage it. But I always remind them it is my stocking clad legs that gets the double takes from the men in the office, heehe!

I have worked as a retail jeweler for 26 years in a mall enviroment and sadly the gils that work in the hair salon or Mac counter at Macy’s dress better than most of the women I see showing a $10,000. DIAMOND RING! Recently I was writen up telling a sales associate to “go home change, put some pride of appearance on,”( ie, a skirt,hose and do your hair!) If I have to put a suit and tie on EVERYDAY! you can put more effort into it than if your going to a bbq.
Apparently I was being abusive and made her feel “Uncomfortable”, perhaps I pull my hair back into a ponytail and wear white “no show socks” with dressshoes and THE SAME PANTS AND SHIRT I WORE SUNDAY, TUESDAY AND FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!AAAAUUUGGH! So, few have style and class anymore, it drives me crazy, so those that do, yes you turn heads and THANK YOU!
Sweet and outlaw, It’s reddog again and I just had a great story to share. My wife works a t at large local urology office, and and one of my LONG time clients was recently in and explained that he hadn’t been around because last year he was diagnosed with the ‘C’, he’d gone through the radiation, surgery, and chemo over the last 15 mo. or so, he wanted to get his honeymoon bride, something extra special, this was only they’re 20th, and he feared they’re last. we spent a couple of hours looking and choosing that something just right, over the course of conversation i found out that this week was the week to test and know, how much time was left,or what plans to make, it struck me to the core and we laughed, cried, hugged and shared during our time together,all in a mall with hundreds of people going through and by, but this is the way I do business, I get to know the person not “just make the sale” we wound up creating a “gem encrusted, crustation”, they met at a seafood festival on the Oregon coast, again 20 years ago, anyway he was to go into his dr, my wife’s office on thursday.( it wasn’t until that moment that we realised that my wife had been the dr. assist. that had been working with him over the year)on Saturday he comes into my store and with a booming voice yells, Pat! Come give me a hug!At that instant, everything went into slow motion, at that moment I had, about 40 people in the store a guest owner of a product we carry who flew in fron Paris France, the owner of the company I work for and his family, plus the new CEO staff and families. as we broke apart he said “my test came back a “0″,I am “C” free!!!, Thank your wife for the compassion she and the staff have, I love them all!
Little did Iknow that my boss had also been treated at my wifes office (client privicy and all) for pr. cncr. and i’m a candidate too, I’m learning,.
Anyway the reason i tell you all this is because, when I met you in a elavator in Vegas at the Mirage, I felt that there was somthing different about YOU. Your SPIRIT will prevail, EMBRACE IT!, You too will win. We met for a fleeting few moments but I know wha t “kind of people you are, and I love you, you are a beautiful spirit, and those that don’t cross path’s with you lose.
