Pantyhose Addict or just have a pantyhose fetish? Or both?
Let’s take a look at addiction to pantyhose. It describes a devotion, attachment, dedication or inclination towards pantyhose to satisfy ones inner sexual desires. If someone is a true pantyhose addict, then it is a recurring compulsion to engage in sexual acts with pantyhose, despite harmful consequences to the individual’s health, mental state or social life. True addict to pantyhose, mentally relies on pantyhose and will experience withdrawal if forced to live without pantyhose.
Now let’s compare fetish to a pantyhose addict to better understand them both. Accidentally simultaneous presentation of a sexual stimulus and pantyhose at an early age can lead to pantyhose being permanently connected to sexual arousal. It is believed that men as boys, where the mom was very loving and hugged them a lot, find a woman’s breast their main attraction. Mom’s that was always too busy, usually had their son clinging to their pantyhose encased legs looking for attention that was never satisfied? This in turn leads to a fetish for pantyhose or pantyhose addict in the making. Fetish for pantyhose is almost like a pantyhose addict with a lot of similarities. Freud’s model of psychosexual development that premature suppression of sexuality, from the lack of parental love, could lead a child getting stuck in a transitory phase.

Pantyhose addict or fetishism manifests itself several ways below:
- During sexual activity with a companion, either the female or male or both wear pantyhose.
- Interacting with pantyhose in any form during sexual activity.
- Observing a female wearing pantyhose heightens arousal.
- Regular viewing and collection of pantyhose pictures or video of both professional and amateur models wearing pantyhose.

When you hear drug addict, we know it is a bad thing…..yet what about Pantyhose Addict? Sweet Addict? Adrenaline Addict? If I wear pantyhose everyday, which I do personally since age 8, am I a pantyhose addict and is it a bad thing? From my viewpoint I love the fashion aspect of it, the way pantyhose compliment my legs. My hubby informed me that men love to see pantyhose on a woman and the phrase pantyhose addict to a man has no negative meaning, just sexy regarding fashion. So despite the bare leg flip flop trend today, stand out in a positive sexy light and become an addict for pantyhose ladies. The best time to wear pantyhose are when they aren’t cool, we are one of a kind!!!

I just can not get enough of them, If I could stay awake any longer I would look at your pics all day. I just requested some women and men to be friends on myspace that were PH oriented, and when my lady seen the pics of them she said thats not what myspace is for and wanted me to delete them, I always tell her that if she would wear hosiery for me more often, (really she only wears them when I ask and usually has to be somewhere nice, that can be expensive), than I wouldnt and I wouldnt have to look at other woman in them.

I guess an addiction is a compulsive habit which you have withdrawl symptoms from when you don’t get enough(hard to believe you can be addicted to PH). Fetishism is more of a like and devotion to them but all in all I think addiction and a fetish have similarities with the above mentioned important differences. I think I would prefer to have a fetish than someone say I was addicted lol. A quick word about the psycho babble in the above article. To pigeon hole everyone who likes PH by trying to explain that it was something from their childhood to me seems a bit silly. By collecting pictures or looking at women and getting turned on by it can be explained by how your mother treat you or wether you she gave you enough love is strange, it maybe true of some people but not in my case or a lot of other fetishists or addicts. I personally collect PH pictures and like to see women wearing them, it definitely stimulates me the same way as seeing an attractive naked woman would and a whole load of other things, but to try and put everyone in one big box and say its because of the love your mother gave you is wrong. I like breasts, legs the whole 9 yards and I like to see women dressed attractivley. Showing legs, wearing skirts and low cut tops is part of that as well as Ph. One last thing, I got more than enough love from my mam and she never put on pantyhose as long as I can remember. She wore trousers most of the time but when she put on a skirt she was always bare legged.

i think my fetish came from my dad, as a young boy i remember my mom getting dressed in t-shirts with pantyhose on cause my dad liked them. He is a truck driver and I remember a chain of restaurants named pantyhose junction where out at some truck stops and yes my dad made it a point to stop at them all. I also grew up in an age where hose where high in fashion. I remember it was a huge way for girls, since 4th grade till graduated from high school, would feel older, more sphisticated, they felt pretty. Many girls in my jr high and high school years wore pantyhose and i treid to date every one of them. Some of them though it funny when we would cut class and i would take them home how much attention i gave there legs and rubed them so much.
the really sucky part that by the time i really came out of the closet with it and wanted it more and actuall started asking girlfriends to wear them it was too late the bare leg came in. maybe because as the less girls wore hose the more i realized my need and want for them, and like most men today they i was too scared or embarrased to say anything so women went with it less and less.
i even had ong term relationships end cause of it.

I have been “addicted” to pantyhose for as long as I can remember. There is definitly alot of truth to your theory about your mothers influence. My mother always wore Leggs suntan pantyhose and often sent me to the store to buy them for her (remember they came in an Egg?) I believe that is where it began. I have had an estranged relationship with my mother since the age of 10 (I’m 40 now) and she passed last year without making amends. I remember looking at adult mags when I was young and always looking for the women wearing stockings or hose. When I was in my early teens I started masturbating with a pair of Shiny tan thights/pantyhose that I found in my stepmother’s drawers. Soon after that I started to wear them while mastubating in them. To this day I wish I still had them, they were my favorite pair. As I grew up and started dating I always found some way to work in the pantyhose angle in all of my relationships, with much sucess. I was always aprehensive at first because I feared that they would think it was strange but I found that all of the women that I introduced my love for sex in hosiery were open to it and always enjoyed it because I would be showering them with attention, pampering and admiration while fulfilling my needs as well. When I started dating my now ex-wife she was really into my “addiction” for stockings, hose and high heels. We started experimenting with mind altering substances and that increased my need for sex with a women in pantyhose and brought it to a whole new level. I started seeing prostitutes in a brothel to satisfy my needs in addition to what I got from my then Girlfriend. It was at the brothel where I really started to explore and wore pantyhose myself with the girls there. Other than there did I ever wear them with any of the women in my life. Being there I could be who I wanted to be without fear of being judged or ridiculed. All of the girls I saw there and there were many, loved it and induldged my every fantasy. I even formed a few relationships with a few of them outside the brothel because they really enjoyed my gentle touch and sex with both of us in pantyhose. I wouldn’t say that I HAVE to have pantyhose inorder to enjoy sex, I prefer it but its not like I’ll go nuts without it. I have a large collection of porn on my computer and all of it is pantyhose or stocking related in some way. I often surf the internet in search of anything pantyhose related, I have joined many sites related to pantyhose and go to all of the pantyhose/stocking fetish chat rooms and to to other like minded people. All in all there are aspects to my fetish for Hosiery that would classify it as an addiction but a harmless addiction I think.

I would categorise myself as a Pantyhose fetish person. It is an aspect of my character that I often regret & even sometimes get quite depressed about. However I have learned to live with it. From a very early age I have memories of being excited by the sight of a woman in hosiery. I believe a close member of my family was responsible as I was often allowed close proximity to her legs & she always wore hosiery. I lived with her for a while as a small child & remember liking the feel of her legs. She initially had no problem with that until I started to grow up . Then I was kept at a distance. That only served to heighten my desires.
The desire to see a woman in hosiery or pantyhose nowadays is as strong as ever. In fact I also wear pantyhose occasionally as I just love the feel of them on my legs. Sweet is so lucky in that she can wear pantyhose all of the time & it is considered quite normal.
I am married to a Woman I love dearly, but regrettably she is a pantyhose hater. It is for this reason that I am so grateful to folks like Sweet & Outlaw for their sites & access to a subject that is so important to me .
