New generation of females always want to be different than the prior generation, so it was only natural for them to abandon hosiery to make a stand in bare legs. Majority of hosiery companies in the USA invested very little money in developing new innovative styles like their European counter parts. Once sales declined there was no money for major advertising campaigns like we saw in the 70′s and 80′s. The larger companies have sold off their hosiery divisions in favor of finding a more profitable market.

Then Spanx and several other new hosiery companies rose from the ashes of the bare leg trend to make a statement.

Pantyhose Trend Now Upward

Several years back leggings took hold and made a strong comeback, the fresh infusion of profits breathed new life into the remaining for newly developed hosiery companies to begin making hosiery to attract a new generation. This gave way to colorful tights, footless tights and body shaping pantyhose for all age groups. Now you can see young ladies in black tights or sexy stay up stockings out clubbing or for an evening on the town.

I know pantyhose are sexy, they are hot and men will do anything for you when you slip your legs into any of the various brands, styles of hosiery…trust me when I share this with you girls.

• Hosiery hides all those imperfections so no one will ever notice.
• Do you want varicose vein’s? Then why do you go bare legs?
• Spider vein’s can be covered up until you can afford to have them removed.
• What lady doesn’t want a leg/foot massage daily, then get into pantyhose or do not complain why the females wearing pantyhose have a big smile on their face everyday!
