Redskin Cheerleaders in their Coffee Colored shiny tights are the longest running cheerleading team in the NFL, founded in 1962. Worldwide recognition for the Washington Redskin football team, NFL and Washington, D.C. area is due partly to the First Ladies of Football, originally called the Redskinettes. The outfits have changed on the Redskin Cheerleaders through out the years, except for the hosiery. You can always find the Coffee pantyhose, instead of the normal nude or suntan shade the NFL Cheerleaders normally wear.

Redskin Cheerleaders Among the Popular

It is great to see that NFL Cheerleaders are given great opportunities to work with excellent organizations following a career performing in sexy coffee colored tights and sexy outfits complimenting their hard bodies! When you are physically fit, have the dance moves, what female would not enjoy being a professional cheerleader? It is a flash back to high school when the most popular girls were the cheerleaders!

Next time you are watching NFL football, ask those with you to name some of the NFL Cheerleader’s and you will always hear them mention the Redskin Cheerleaders among them! Each NFL team has a cheerleading squad, same try out’s, complicated dance steps, various sexy outfits, all wear hosiery…yet some are way more popular than others. Let’s take a look at the different outfits they have worn through out the years, since their inception.

1970: Go-go!
America was well aware of the appeal of the mini-skirt with pantyhose, and of course everything was big. While jeans and t-shirts were emblazoned with colorful flowers and butterflies, the Redskinettes discovered sequins. And lots of them! Marsha Brady hair was the in-thing, and white knee-high boots were the sexiest look for a nice pair of long legs in coffee support pantyhose sheer to waist. Something the NFL would forget about, and rediscover again.

1979: The One We’d Like to Forget
Mary Beth heads up the line in a bright red Danskin Shimmery Tights with gold fringe and the favorite white go-go boots. These were the winter uniforms from 1979-1981. And just be jealous that you didn’t get to use the largest pompoms in the history of the world!

1982: Return to our “Roots”
The ladies reinvented the suede look and adopted the thin burgundy and gold headband as part of the uniforms this year. Still keeping the nostalgic feel for Indian garb, but following the evolving 80s version of “punk” and coinciding with the new music generation of the MTV years, the Redskinettes stayed current… but still hung on to the sexy white boots to show off those lovely legs in those sexy shiny coffee pantyhose. The team wore this uniform for Super Bowls XVII and XVIII.

1984: We Still Love the 80s
Donna is wearing the sleek new one-piece uniform for 1984,1985, 1986, and 1987. More importantly, in the 1987 Super Bowl. The team chose a burgundy Jantzen body suit and trimmed it in sequined fringe with veeery trendy short, leather boots topped off with support tights.

It’s all about the Madonna and the new punk waves. The Ladies caught up to the fashion with new hair, new looks, and as always, fresh and beautiful new faces!

1988: Pretty Before its Time

This lovely tank uniform would put Olympic ice champions to shame. And we mean that in a nice way! It was worn in the summer of 1988 and the ladies held on to the leather boots one more season.

1995: New Hotness
Looking rather more “swashbuckling” than “indian” the ladies returned to a slinky and shiny one-piece uniform with delicate puffy sleeves to offset a cute short skirt. The 70s were not so trendy in the 90s so the team abandoned the gogo boots look for a comfortable dance tennis shoe and retro-Flashdance leg warmers for a number of years.

1998: Another Return
Once again the Redskins Cheerleaders bared their midriffs in an updated, sexy, and sparkly two-piece uniform. The uniform evolved slightly every year under the new director. Each year the team adds a few rhinestones and cuts away a little more fabric. The fabulous results can be seen on the sidelines this year on the 2003-04 team….

2000-05
The cheerleaders sported the most sleek and sexy look of that time. Adorned with more than 300 rhinestones and shapely leather-esque white shorts (a favorite for any sports fan), the ladies reinvented the go-go boots look with a millennium touch. The bolero jacket added a different look to cool games or personal appearances, and the white leather jacket for cold weather games were all part of the new repertoire and hot look for the ladies. The halter top, largely unchanged since its introduction in 2000, and the daring dip in the sparkling waistline accents the excellent fitness and beautiful figures of the First Ladies of Football

Today!
Coming up with the hottest and sexiest uniform in pro sports, the Redskins Cheerleaders are true trend-setters in this daring outfit. Donald Wells, Director of Cheerleaders and Entertainment, spent several months working on each detail, and the end result is pure artwork. The top has been cut dramatically to fit each cheerleader and more than 600 Swarovski Crystals in three different stunning colors and sizes were added to create a look that is not only sexy, but a true showstopper. The shorts have also been given the same care to make sure they are customized to each cheerleader. The belt was given 200 crystals and the amazing cheerleader logo belt buckle has been given a sparkling facelift with the same Swarovski crystals. For appearances, the bolero has been changed to white and made more modernized. The 2007 Washington Redskins Cheerleaders are the most beautiful in pro sports and now have a uniform that showcases their beauty and maintains their icon standing.

Thank goodness the bare leg and flip flop trend is dying out quickly now! Isn’t it strange that the ladies men find sexy to look at are Hooter Girls, Cheerleaders, Flight Attendants in Pantyhose, etc. that are wearing pantyhose, tights or stockings? Hosiery is just plain sexy to look at and feel to the touch. They could be wearing Danskin Shimmery Tights or just regularly support sheer to waist pantyhose, does anyone out there reading this have an idea?

I know the Rockettes in New York City wear the Danskin Shimmery Tights exclusively for performing, it is amazing how many are purchased for the entire year!

So many of the NFL Cheerleaders are professionals, if not a student, that do not have time to find someone to date, unless they use a service like adult friend finder to save time!

Not only are these ladies sexy and wear pantyhose, but have big hearts and can be found doing charity work regularly! It is great when you are rewarded for your beauty and then can use that platform to raise awareness for a cause or charity. You can also find them flying oversea’s to perform for the soldiers and give them some eye candy in shiny suntan pantyhose. Great idea for the next pantyhose party you have, give it a Cheerleader theme for the ladies and the men have to dress up as football players, eh?

Females today need to have fun with hosiery, there are just so many different styles coming out today, thanks to the new fabrics out.
