Thong leotard with a pair of shiny sexy tights in hand are all I need to put in a great workout, whether at home or in the gym! There is nothing more sexy when a female is working up a sweat to stay in shape, when you catch a glimpse of our nylon/spandex covered bum with a thong leotard. Thong Leotard has always been my weapon of mass distraction, as the Hooters Girls top say,  when working out anywhere in my shiny tights! They give me more motivation just from the feel of the nylon/spandex massaging my legs as I move around. I also enjoy being able to feel my legs when taking mini breaks between sets, knowing the guys are loving every minute of it, yes?

Thong Leotard of the 80′s

I wish the younger generation could of experienced the 80′s, it was a great time with fashion that included all kinds of hosiery in all aspects of a ladies lifestyle. The Thong Leotard definitely complimented the shiny sexy tights. It gave you a chance to pretty much show off your bum and legs in sexy tights, while still be legal with a Thong Leotard…go figure!

Thong leotards are not the best for gymnastics (although, they do eliminate the wedgie problem). However, I can see how girls in pantyhose that spend a significant amount of time working out may prefer this type of leo. The high cut of the thong leotard up over the hips shows off your shiny tights which  allows for additional freedom of movement and the fact that the backside is narrow can provide a more comfortable workout for the wearer.

If you do not have a bum like me, the thong also compliments and makes your bum look much better, than just wearing baggy shorts. It is so sad to see everyone here in Florida that are too leisure in all area’s of their life. Once in New York when Outlaw was taking me out to dinner, we road the elevator down with another couple. He was in a dress suit and she was in an Awesome sequin club wear, with bare legs and FLIP FLOPS!!! This definitely destroyed the look she was going for, don’t you think?

Thong Leotard Aerobics Video I Have To Share

Think “aerobics” and the name Jane Fonda in her shiny suntan tights comes to mind. Her 1982 video made “workout” and “go for the burn” household terms. It remains the best-selling exercise video of all time. However, Fonda did not invent aerobics, tights or thong leotards, as many people believe.

The word “aerobic” technically means “living only in the presence of oxygen”. Here’s how it became the generic term for exercise classes choreographed to music.

In 1968, Dr. Kenneth Cooper published his book “Aerobics”, which described fitness programs he had created for the U.S. Air Force. In it, he laid down the scientific guidelines that are still being used today for increasing aerobic endurance through activities like walking, running, cycling, and swimming in a thong leotard.

Cooper and Sorensen could not have foreseen how popular aerobics in a thong leotard and tights would become. In 1987, more than 19 million people were doing it in the U.S. alone. For that, Fonda can take a bow.

She also set the standard for fashionable aerobic wear – thong leotard, sweatband, belt, suntan tights and leg warmers, which were inspired from her days as a ballet student. So popular did she make this get-up that even women in tropical countries were working out with totally unnecessary leg warmers. More daring was the thong leotard paired with shiny flesh colored tights. Buttocks of all shapes and sizes were visible for all to see. It was not always a pleasant sight.

But Jane Fonda aerobic thong leotard may yet make a comeback of sorts, with the footless shiny tights already gaining in popularity. The signs are on the horizon – Madonna’s shiny spandex leotard and pantyhose in her recent MTV and retro-1980’s fashion in style magazines. There are reports that sweatbands are already making an appearance in some gyms. Will leg warmers and (shudder) thongs be next?
